Our team is comprised of individuals with deep industry knowledge and over 30 years experience in the aviation industry and travel business, along with experience at a global consulting firm. Additionally, we are partners with a technology firm that focuses exclusively on travel & hospitality.

  • Mandeep Grewal

    FOUNDING PARTNER

    Mandeep Grewal is an Indian born aviation veteran who has spent over 30 years working in the US Aviation industry. She held leadership roles in various areas of United Airlines and Continental Airlines during her career spanning three decades.

    Daughter of a pilot (her mother was one of the first women pilots of India) and a geologist (her father), she spent her childhood traveling the world.

    Her passion for traveling and exploring the globe, and her love for the business have been the motivation for launching Flyaway Advisors.

  • Ryan Bolz

    PARTNER

    Ryan is a 30 year travel industry and consulting expert having worked at Continental Airlines and KPMG LLP. He has led Global Sales teams as well as strategy engagements in both the CFO and CIO directorates within several US Government Agencies.

    He grew up in an aviation family and has a love for traveling. He brings his leadership and expertise to Flyaway Advisors.

  • Jim Olson

    Senior Advisor - Strategic Communications

    Jim has illuminated some of the most consequential business, travel and social impact stories of our time. As the former chief communications officer at United Airlines and Avelo Airlines, and the former VP of Communications at US Airways and Starbucks, he has elevated the brands, amplified the missions, and united the workforces at these and other startup and global enterprises.

    Jim has been honored by PRovoke Magazine as one of the World’s 100 Most Influential In-House Communicators and was awarded a Certificate in Airline Accident Communications Management from the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). Over the years, Jim has visited, worked and lived in more than 50 countries across six continents.
